BA Team & Collective is Metro Detroit's premier high-end hair salon that has seamlessly blended passion, resilience, and artistry since its inception on April 14, 2014.

Founded by friends from beauty school and a dad, Bell Amore Salon opened its doors in 2014, setting the stage for a salon experience that transcended the ordinary. Its name (Bell Amore) means “Beautiful Love”.  Over the next five years, the salon grew and trained countless stylists in the industry.

In 2019, Bell Amore Salon embraced sustainability by becoming a Green Circle Salon, reaffirming our dedication to environmental responsibility. This milestone reflected our commitment to not only transform our clients' looks but also to contribute positively to the planet. 

In January 2020, our salon underwent a lavish transformation. However, the year took an unexpected turn when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, forcing a temporary shutdown from March 15th to June 15th. Despite the challenges, Bell Amore Salon emerged stronger, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity. During the crisis, showing up online for our guests. We also offered delivery service for our products to ensure everyone had what they needed.

June 2021 marked a significant moment as we signed a new lease at our new (current) location, setting the stage for further growth.

In January 2022, we elevated the salon experience by moving into a fully renovated and custom-built space, where sophistication met innovation.

In March 2022, our owner, Naomi Trotto, faced a personal challenge as her son was diagnosed with Leukemia. This unexpected turn threw the salon into survival mode throughout 2022, leading to a complete restaffing by 2023. Despite the hardships, the following year was a testament to our resilience, with 2023 being a wonderful year filled with continuous training and education.

As we stand in 2024, we introduce the collective aspect of BA. BA Team & Collective is innovative, collaborative, and excited to take on whatever the future holds. We have been hosting several pop-up businesses locally, supporting our local community with classes for the consumer to take, such as braiding 101, or personal makeup classes with our master artist. Our commitment to excellence, coupled with a renewed sense of purpose, ensures that every guest experience is top-notch. The Collective allows for us to bring other trades in to provide more for our guests. We welcome you to enjoy all that BA will bring in the future!
